To maximize your results, FS2 trainers give you their full attention, note your response to each exercise and make modifications as needed.

Daily life requires us to constantly adapt to physical situations that can compromise our health. Sitting long hours at a desk can strain the neck, back, shoulders and wrists. These are all examples of how routine demands on our bodies can rob us of healthy posture, balanced joint alignment and mobility.

Why is functional training such an important part of overall fitness? Functional training restores healthy movement to the body. Where an unbalanced body yields pain and weakness, functional training prepares you for whatever challenges life has in store.

It takes preparation to tackle a muscle building program. Connective tissue develops slower than muscle. This is why it is critical to first prepare your joints for the challenge of lifting heavy weights by focusing on function, stability, alignment and control.

Once you have this foundation, the key to building muscle is periodization - or changing things up. This helps you avoid injury and hitting a plateau. FS2 varies all aspects of your weight training program: resistance, sets, tempo, repetition, volume and recovery time. Our strategic approach will prepare your body for the demands of strength training and keep you on a path of steady growth.

We understand that losing weight is a daunting task.  Often people come to us after many failed attempts that resulted in disappointment.

The reality is that healthy weight loss takes time. In fact, the recommended rate of fat loss is 1 to 2 pounds per week. This means that if you have 30 pounds to lose, you should plan for 15-30 weeks of dedicated exercise and nutrition. Long-term goals such as this require patience, persistence and support.

Even if you only have 5 to 10 pounds to lose—but just can't seem to get there—you may be experiencing frustration. As you get closer to your final goal, the going gets tougher and a new level of energy is required.

At FS2 we are experienced in moving you past obstacles. Our coaches teach you how to train smart, inspire you to want to succeed, challenge you to give it your all and celebrate your success.

So how do we do it? Muscles burn calories. The more muscles engaged when you exercise, the more calories you burn. FS2 work outs exercise the total body. Another key contributor to weight loss is heart rate—which is why we keep it elevated throughout your session.

You may work harder than you have worked before, but the sense of pride, confidence and satisfaction after looking and feeling your best will make it worth while.
